Margaret Vicknair
Writer, artist, cartoonist
Maggie G. Vicknair has the mind of a writer, the soul of an artist, and the heart of a cartoonist. Born in Texas and raised in Long Island, she got her BA in Written and Visual Arts at Bard College in 2014. She currently lives in Manhattan with her three-legged cat.
She has been making and self publishing her own comics since high school, when she embarked on a seven-year long webcomic. Since then she has been printing mini-comics (I Can’t See You, Papersong,) and peddling these wares to comic stores throughout the city. Her work usually involves folklore, horror, the gothic, and/or cool ladies.
