Porad is a freelance Cartoonist and Illustrator whose base of operations is in Brooklyn, New York. Having been closely raised by a loving, open-minded and intellectual grandmother, Porad was exposed to many things throughout her childhood that would influence her artwork; most of which include cartoons, nature, and history. In 2018, she graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a BFA in Cartooning and almost immediately began work on a World War 2 graphic novel – this comic detailed the harrowing battle of Brest Fortress at the beginning of the war, where soldiers were forced to protect what was left of their fortress, families and their disintegrating mental states.
